JoeVerlanding started because I needed more reasons to get outside. To get out of the work, get out of the urban environment and get into the wilderness. I have limited time, and wanted to make the most of it. I had watched many overlanders on YouTube for years, envious of their journeys, rigs, and setups. I wanted to get out there too. Setting aside the time, and choosing gear wisely has allowed me to do so.
